Not the most complex red Burgundy, but it is prototypical, and I love the interplay of red fruit with spicy and savory character on the elegant and velvety medium-bodied palate. Everything fits so neatly, right through the long, moderately dry finish. From two plots with contrasting soils, one heavy clay, the other light sandy soil, both of which are organically cultivated.
