There's smoky, savory intrigue to this red. Modest fruit (a hallmark of the leaner vintage) shows real presence, with black currant and plum paste flanked by black and white pepper, dried thyme, smoke and tar, with smoldering mesquite in the backdrop. Everything is etched in graphite. Drink now through 2035. 10 cases imported.
