Sobre este vinho

The bouquet is fluid and graceful with a very precise and focused delivery. Dark fruit is contrasted against pressed rose, smoked spice and crushed graphite. The finish is silky and very long. Attractive tones of savory smoked meat appear at the very end.

Safra 2020 Avaliado em 2024

Intense, overt and fruit-focused Brunello with fresh violets soaked into bright, crushed raspberries, as well as ash and balsamic depth. Full-bodied yet framed and polished, with a deep tannin structure. It’s very tightly wound in the center-palate, meaning it needs time to open and gain full expression. Allow at least three years for it to come around. Best after 2028.

Safra 2020 Avaliado em 2025

A dark, distinctive version that veers toward black currant and blackberry fruit, showing fine concentration and structure. Iron, earth, eucalyptus and Mediterranean scrub notes augment the fruit, delivering an anomaly for the vintage. Almost feels more like '19 than '20. Best from 2028 through 2045. 1,167 cases made, 340 cases imported.

A darker expression of the vintage, this red sports black cherry, blackberry, iron, tar and tobacco aromas and flavors. Dense and muscular, yet with vibrant acidity that keeps this long and focused. The tannins are resonant, and the lasting impression is of sweet fruit. Best from 2026 through 2042. 1,700 cases made, 480 cases imported.
