Deep ruby in colour, quite opaque. Complex aroma but at the same time austere, with floral notes of heather and rosemary, resin, mint and cedar, spiciness, pepper and a hint of saffron, and vibrant red fruits. It has lots of body, good, seriously firm tannins, very well-balanced acidity, and floral notes of heather and gum cyst, with a very long and complex finish.

This shows figs and prunes with a hint of salted caramel. The palate is harmonious, elegant and settled, with subtle fruit. Full-bodied and luscious, but with a polished profile. Drink or hold.
Solid, with a core of dark plum and boysenberry paste laced with singed alder and fruitcake. Shows good grippy energy through the finish, too. Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and Tinto Cão. Drink now through 2030. 4,721 cases made, 200 cases imported.
