Colour: Deep garnet. Nose: Red fruit and blackcurrant dominate, followed by aromas of violet. Mouth: Generous, powerful tannins ; finish of stewed fruits and vanilla ; fresh and fruity.

A smoky, brooding, dark wine, with an appealing range of chewy fruit flavors and intense graphite power. Delivers layers of dark fig and mocha notes flecked with singed lavender and violet. Reveals tannic grip that reins in the finish, which is otherwise supple and round, grounded by iron and smoke. Attractive and complex. Drink now through 2030.
