A big, rounded and generous wine that wraps fine-grained tannins around gorgeous red and black fruit on a full body. Clos des Ursules is a monople of Jadot’s and one of the vineyards they have used for generations. Opens with spicy cinnamon, cloves and toast, then vivid raspberries, red plums and mint on the palate. Drink or hold.
Pure and bursting with energy and tension, this red's cherry, blackberry, floral and mineral flavors are locked tight today. Nonetheless, this offers terrific balance and intensity, with just a hint of oak spice. The long, resonant aftertaste is driven by vibrant acidity. Shows excellent potential. Best from 2029 through 2047. 200 cases imported.
