Intense and nervy nose that shows focus, ripeness and complexity. Reductive and almost ferric, with white pepper, glossy red berries, grapefruit, mezcal and blood oranges. Precise, with structure and juicy fruit. There is mineral tension throughout, supported with a touch of fine but powerful tannins. Really long and precise. Drink from 2025.
Fresh and silky, this focused, medium-bodied version is framed by fine-grained, supple tannins. Features flavors of baked black raspberry, red licorice, cocoa powder and a hint of warm brown bread that all glide across the palate in a graceful waltz, with a savory flash of fried sage, apple wood and mineral countering the sweet fruit and spice before lingering on the finish.
