Deep, very luminous ruby red. Multi-layered, full-volumed nose of fruit, ranging through wild cherry, tobacco leaf, black liquorice, and mint. Equally superb richness and elegance in the mouth, excelling in depth and balance of all components, including the tannins.

Packed with succulent flavors of plum, blackberry and black cherry, this broad red is supported by a dense, burly structure that should allow it to evolve nicely over the next two decades. Reveals iron, earth, eucalyptus and tobacco accents on the finish. All the elements are there, this just needs time. Sangiovese and Merlot. Best from 2026 through 2045. 488 cases made, 50 cases imported.
