Restrained and austere nose of dried cherries, roses, violets, orange peel and cinnamon. Full-bodied with a tight-knit structure of fruit, crisp acidity, elegant velvety tannins and a long, savory aftertaste. More austere in the finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2029.
Aromas of incense and potpourri figure prominently in this maturing red, whose fading cherry and berry flavors are matched by leather, tobacco and mineral accents. This ends with a light, dusty feel on the long, fresh finish. Drink now through 2028. 400 cases made, 120 cases imported.
This red has a fresh edge, which defines the cherry, strawberry, iron and tobacco flavors. Reveals a hint of eucalyptus that creeps in, as does the refined yet dense tannic structure. Well-proportioned and long on the finish. Best from 2025 through 2042. 400 cases made, 30 cases imported.
