Fine toast aromas add subtle sweetness, creaminess and white fruit. Lightly chalky and taut, with a full body and concentration. The acidity is high but rather mellow, without sharpness. This is fresh, full and vinous, with a saline tang at the end. Mostly verdejo with some godello and albillo. Drink or hold.
A serious white from Quintanilla de Arriba that shows cooked lemons, minerals, sour cream and sliced apples. Full-bodied and flavorful, with a broad center palate and bright acidity that invite you to drink more. Long and vivacious finish, with a mouthwatering ending. This was aged in 500-liter French barrels. Drink or hold.
